The furst visit in the year to a shrine is an event in which I worship at a shrine or a temple, a church, etc. for the first time, after the year begins.
It devotes one year of gratitude, or prays for the safety of the new year.
We the family go to Hofu Tenman-gu located in Yamaguchi Prefecture every year.
Many people are in the shrine.
I will buy a charm or write a votive picture.
It is also my pleasure to go for the first visit in the year to the shrine.
Then, we go to the house of the grandmother who lives in Yamaguchi.
It is also pleasure that I can meet my Grandmother after a long time.
